"Still too quick on the plot of the whole movie."

date: August 13, 2008

I still enjoy watching the SSW series, but there is one problem that happens in this series ever since a few episodes ago. This problem is not the extreme amount of death in this movie, it's the fact that much of the plot is way to rushed and not explained well enough, or there are areas not explained at all. Let me list a few of these
1. In episode 15, the last time you see Gingko, Sparky, and Zerofuse they were talking about some sort of bomb about to blow up the building. In this chapter, the are in a forest all of a sudden and Zerofuse is surrounded by symbol guardians. What happened between that point?
2. Melissa knows about the Z symbol and was chasing Shiva at the same time? It would be good to explain maybe later in the series.
Also, In a kind of morbid coincidence Melissa, Trust, and Celeron arrived in episode 8, and die 8 episodes later :P.
3. X disappears for quite a few episodes and then is killed right off the bat in this episode by a symbol who before last episode was hardly even a part in this movie. You could have made it a bit longer battle.
The battles in this movie were a bit lacking, but not as bad as the fights in SSW vs. SCD 2. First, you gave most of the hedgehogs the astro sign symbols, but only one (Sky) actually used it against the Z symbol. You could have made all of the hedgehogs that battled use their astro sign symbols, and then kill them off. Music wise, you pick the perfect selection of music for everything in this episode, so that's not a problem. My only problem that is kind of music related is when ever I click on the jukebox selection, It plays Metric Key on top of the main menu music. I know I can press stop to turn off all music, but if there is a way you could stop all music right as you open the jukebox selection that would be nice. Also, could you please add a return to main menu button at the end of the movie? Everything technical wise is ok with this movie, the only problem is the very jumpy and fast paced plot. It isn't good when now you have to deal with the plot of Static's story and the rest of the team's story. I think it would be best right now to divide the series into episodes dedicated for each story. That way you can focus on one story and not lose track of the other. Overall, effects and graphics wise, this is your best movie (I have been say that almost every movie you create, so your improving every time). As usual, take your time and don't add anymore unnecessary details unless it helps develop something in the plot. (I am not worried about you running out of ideas; the only problem is what you do with the ideas). Until next episode, good luck on SCD 4, SCD vs. SSW 3, and SCE 2 :) .

P.S. To all who are confused about the mist part, this is what the hedgehogs are saying

Flames: Mist?? I can't see!
Trust: I don't think the watchers can read what we're saying
Trust (again): I don't need my eyes to see!

I hope it helps out some confused viewers.

P.P.S. Would you please respond to this review. I don't really care about the contest. I only care if my review is helpful and is able to clear away confusion of any type. As long as you keep creating these movies, I will try my best to write helpful reviews.

P.P.P.S. Duuuuuuuuuude, I have the same Astro as Sprint XD.

It doesn't show. It all happened off screen

If you watch SSW8, she came out of the cyan portal.

That, I didn't notice. XD
The deaths mightbe explained later in the series. A lot of people thought I was rushing things.

Just as Zerofuse didn't get his own sign. Tried to make it more realistic, heh

Also, could you please add a return to main menu button at the end of the movie?

I thought closing and re-opening the movie wouldn't be a problem lol

That will all be explained in episode 17

Until next episode, good luck on SCD 4, SCD vs. SSW 3, and SCE 2 :) .

Thank you ;P

Sonic Cursed Elements

"Just as good, if not better then SCD."

date: August 8, 2008

When I first saw that you created a fourth series I though "Four series! I hope this one not like SSW or SSW vs. SCD were much of the plot felt like it was just put together randomly." I opened the video and pressed play. The intro was very good and kind of adds a little insight into what your movie is going to be like. I think you should put an intro into every one of your movies from now on. For the rest of the movie, I like the way that you develope everybody's personalities in this movie. Every character in this movie is not there just to take up space. Where some characters like Tebeor and Lunatus have pasts where events huant their lives even to the present, which I hope you build on next episode, Midity adds more of the humor into this serious video. As for the music, I don't know why it is that when I listen to the music you create without it being in a flash movie I don't like it, but when in a flash movie the music fits more perfectly then cogs in a factory. This episode also leaves alot in suspence, so it will leave me dieing for the next episode. Oh wait, my spirt is typing up this review, dang it :P. Anyhow, great job on the first episode of your 4th (wait, you created the Arnas Gems collection before I was on NG so 7th) series. The only thing I wish you could have done for this episode is add in an RPG for the snake battle part, but that would be kind of time consuming to create, so it is just one of those things that if you create it would make this even more of a kick a** submission, but it's not required. Finally, as for the way in which the order of all the episodes are created, I think you should work on SSW and get all of the episodes in that series done, because you are much further in that series than in the other series, so if you complete it you will have just gotten one series off your plate. As for everything else, your choice. Good luck on the next episodes of your collection of movies and most importantly take your time, it's not like if I die waiting for your next movie my spirt will come after you. Wait, this is my spirt typing the review, dang it again! XP

P.S. Dude, you exceeded the flash player frame limit. Cool.

Sonic Shorts: Volume 4

"Still going strong!"

date: August 4, 2008

Everyone of the Sonic Shorts Volume has made me laugh at one point or another, this one is just as good at doing so. All of the shorts were funny in this volume, but the three that were the most funny were the first one with sonic holding tails to protect himself against the bullet, the tails doll/charmy, and the one with hyper sonic giving all the sonic charactors seiuzers. Like all of the other volumes, I couldn't really find any problems, but I think that you missed one person in the credits. The music that was played during the credits was a remix of Marble Garden zone from Sonic 3 which is called Marbled Beaches. The authour of this song is ManMadeMusic, which can be found on Newgrounds. I am pretty sure that this is the song, but if it isn't, please ignore this this area of my review. Anyway, good job to everyone who has sumbitted to this collection of sonic flash moves and I wish everybody, espesically to Thewax70, good luck on Volume 5.

Sonic Advance - Cosmic Angel

"*Tear drops from eye!*"

date: August 9, 2008

I always loved the music from that zone, even more so than Ice Cap Zone or almost any of the other sonic music. You have just created the best version of Cosmic Angel on Newgrounds and even better then the game itself (and that is hard). The drums that you added in were perfect for this song. Also, the tempo increases and decreases were very neat. What was also impressive was how you added the sound effects of rings being collected, lasers, score board, continue, and warping to next zone into the song and it actual sound very good in the song. Overall, this song is 100% pure awesomeness, a defineate download, a 5 out of 5, a 10 out of 10, and a congradualation on making one of my favorite songs from the history of sonic become even better. Thank you so much for remixing this song Orange-Moai/TheWillofD!

I think I should thank you for asking me to do it!
It's been a long time, but I told you I'd finish the song.
- and thanks for sticking around when my other account died. You greatly influenced my decision to come back to the audio portal, and I haven't regretted coming back!

Sonic & Knux - Final Boss

"This is an awsome song"

date: July 25, 2008

This is the pure definition of metal techno! Don't worry about the 0-bomber right now, the review score right now means more then the vote score does. Just continue at what you like to do, and if life gives you lemons, turn it into lemonaid. Or a crazy awesome song like this. In due time, I will due my best to raise my score and vote 5's to counter the 0-terriorist. Anyway, the overall review of this song is as fast and crazy as verseing all four of sonic final bosses at once. The drums really stuck out. Like 10 drum beats per secound. Good job on this song, and way to channel the anger into an awsome song!

I might be deleting this song soon, I got a metal band to help me out in re-making it. But I really appreciate the help, man. Really. It does help lol

Sonic Rush Final Stage

"Woah..."

date: December 28, 2007

This is a wacky version of the final boss without the choas emeralds (To reldum87, this is technically the final boss so he has the right song). Anyways, it sounds like a deep space version of the song and the voice distoritions sound odd, but great. The only thing is that nothing really is different other then the distortion of the song and the extra long voice at 1:40. It would be better if for part of the song you used that the distorted song (the part without the vocals) then you added in another instrument as the vocal part rather that distorted vocals. Also, you could create a part of the song that was not a part of the original song, but transtions from one part of the song to another. Other then that good job on a song that there are not many remixes of!
